The antipoverty group Oxfam launched ‘Behind the Brands‘ as part of their GROW campaign. According to Oxfam, “Behind the Brands Scorecard assesses the agricultural sourcing policies of the world’s 10 largest food and beverage companies” to help consumers make informed decisions. The scorecard grades companies on issues such as water consumption, labour and wages, greenhouse gas emissions and nutrition. The New York Times also blogged about this campaign in “A Report Card for Global Food Giants“.
