The Results Are In Farm to Cafeteria Canada National Survey from Sustain Ontario on Vimeo.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Dig In! webinar on January 15th about the Farm to Cafeteria Canada National Survey results. We have uploaded a recording of the webinar so that you can re-watch the presentations and share it with others.

We would like to extend our thanks once again to Dr. Mary McKenna and Roxana Suchorolski, RD, who led the discussion about the design and methodology of the survey and how local food activities tie into the F2CC strategic plan. The survey was distributed to schools, colleges/universities, and health care facilities across Canada. They shared their analysis of the survey results, which looked at institutional relationships with local food in regards to availability and procurement, educational activities, policies and contracts, as well as benefits, barriers, tipping points and needs.   Finally, the discussion covered the next steps to better support local food activities in institutions nationwide.

Please feel free to share the webinar widely and carry on the conversation.
