On Saturday, November 3rd, 13-year-old food activist Rachel Parent and TV host Julie Daniluk will lead a walk for kids and families in Toronto to educate the public about genetically-modified foods and their effects on consumers’ health and the environment. The walk is being held as an expression of support for California’s Proposition 37 to label GMO foods, legislation that would set a precedent for more labeling policies of its kind.

The GMOs – Kids Right To Know Walk will take place at 10a.m. at Dundas Square (33 Dundas Street East) and will travel to St. Lawrence Market (95 Front Street).

Additional information is available at the event’s fundraising page.
