Bring Food Home, Ontario’s biennial conference connecting food and farming leaders working towards a sustainable food system, is back!  This year’s conference will be held at Trent University in Peterborough, ON October 27, 28, 29, and the theme is “Preparing the Ground for a Sustainable Food System”.

The Bring Food Home Program Committee will be putting together a dynamic program that shares great ideas, builds skill and catalyzes action towards a sustainable food system for Ontario. We invite all of those interested in using the conference as a venue to share your innovative models, train others, or organize for action to submit a presentation proposal using the form on the Bring Food Home website.

We will be reviewing all proposals and inviting submitting groups to work together to design their conference sessions. Based on feedback from the 2010 conference, we will be hosting fewer sessions in 2011.

The deadline for submitting proposals is July 10th, 2011.

Presenters will be provided a small discount on conference registration fees. Presenters are also eligible to apply for bursaries. Bursaries will be intended to make the conference accessible to a diversity of groups across the province.
