Margaret Webb, who grew up on a farm just outside Barrie, Ont., is the author of Apples to Oysters: A Food Lover’s Tour of Canadian Farms. She has written on food for theToronto Star, The Globe and Mail, More Magazine andCanadian Geographic, and is the keynote speaker at the 2010 Guelph Organic Conference. She teaches magazine writing at Ryerson University and lives in Toronto.
