Food Sovereignty Across Scales: Global Movements, Local Action is an upcoming collaborative series hosted by the Food Action Network of Northwestern Ontario, the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario, the National Farmers Union of Ontario, Gaagige Zaagibigaa, and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

The series is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen food sovereignty, community leadership, and regional collaboration across Northwestern Ontario.

Full Series Lineup:

  • Thursday, April 9: Indigenous Seed Gathering – 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Co-Lab Art Gallery (251 Red River Rd)
  • Friday, April 10: Talk – Food Sovereignty as a Movement – 7 – 9 PM, RFDA (570 Syndicate Ave)
  • Saturday, April 11: Farmers & Growers Meet Up – 2 – 5 PM, Red Lion Smokehouse (16 Cumberland St)
  • Sunday, April 12: Workshop – Food Sovereignty in Action – 1 – 5 PM, Roots CFC (450 Fort William Rd)
