Dr. CF Cannon Public School
Oshawa, Ontario

In this slideshow Dr. CF Cannon Public School shares a visual narrative about their journey learning about local foods and traditional practices on the land and in the classroom thanks to their 2024/25 nourish to flourish grant.

Their story includes harvesting berries and maple syrup, exploring the salmon life cycle with a “fish condo” in the classroom and then releasing the fish into the wild, playing with worm babies, and using plants to learn math.
