Are you passionate about social equity and community development?

The York Region Food Network is hiring a Community Mobilizer to drive social change and build community connections.

The Community Mobilization Manager role will support the work of both York Region Food Network and the Social Planning Council of York Region in developing a Social Procurement Collaborative for York Region. This is a new role for a 10-month project that will mobilize a variety of stakeholders to create strategic partnerships in York Region and ensure knowledge is readily available for partners to take direct action to support their communities using social procurement.

Status: Full-time, 9 months
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Aurora, Ontario and work from home
Hourly Wage Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
