Organize a Screening – National Farmer Union’s Depth of Field (DoF) film project

The National Farmers Union (NFU) is teaming up with March Forth Creative Inc. to produce and present 40 short documentary films showcasing farm stories from across Canada with a focus on sustainable practices.

Depth of Field will connect Canadians with a diversity of land-based workers, bridging the gap between Canadian eaters and the farmers, farm workers, producers and land stewards who grow food in localized and sustainable ways.

In spring 2023, the filmmakers began traveling across the provinces and shooting on location with the goal to complete production by 2024. In partnership with many partner organizations, NFU will be making the films available online and at local community screenings.
