Stream 1: Just Food (April 1st – April 15th)
Interested in food systems, food justice, and how we’re all connected? Join us for this dive into the intersectionality of the impacts of food systems, relationships that transform local food systems, and how this affects us all who live within these webs. If you’re interested in making change and are ready to dive into place-based systems thinking and the relationships that transform it all – let’s connect you with resources, conversations and people who are doing this work and together we’ll explore how we all can make change.
Stream 2: Collaborations & Co-ops (April 8th – April 22nd)
If you’re familiar with food justice concepts, or perhaps you work within the food system and now you’re looking for solutions that benefit your community, join us for this stream. Our Collaborations and Co-ops stream can connect you to concepts and community-focused solutions that bring together complex elements for more efficient, healthy, and multifaceted ways in which to solve problems and accomplish your goals. From land trust experts to open-source online platforms for turning buying clubs into co-ops, we introduce solutions with proven track records and you get connected with those who can share about their success. Are you co-op curious? This stream is where it’s at.
Stream 3: Food Economies & Communities of Practice (April 15th – April 29th)
We all need capital to make our projects work, but social entrepreneurs, cooperators and community developers know there are many elements vital to strengthening and innovating food businesses and the system as a whole. If you’ve got your hands dirty and are looking to explore creative ways to access funding and cooperate together to bring valuable innovative solutions forward, welcome to our Food Economies and Communities stream! We’ll dive deeper as seasoned practitioners troubleshooting change and driving food movement evolution by rethinking solutions to resource prospecting.
