The Lake Superior Living Labs Network is hosting a free webinar on Climate Justice Across the Lake Superior Watershed on Wednesday, August 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. ET.

What is climate justice and what does it mean to be a good future ancestor? This panel will showcase stories and perspectives from folks engaged in climate justice across the Lake Superior watershed and beyond.

Chúk Odenigbo (Future Ancestors) will kick off the conversation with a short keynote address, followed by Shadiya Aidid (Fossil Free Lakehead), Shelby Gagnon (Indigenous Food Circle) and Candace Day Neveau (Baawaating Water Protectors), who will share stories and perspectives about their work in climate justice.
