OTF announces Resilient Communities Fund to help non-profit sector

The Ontario Trillium Foundation has launched a Resilient Communities Fund to invest in the recovery and rebuilding efforts of the non-profit sector impacted by COVID-19.
With this one-time fund, OTF will support a flexible range of capital and non-capital activities to aid in the medium to longer-term recovery efforts of organizations to help with their stabilization and build their capacity and resiliency.
Applicants can request $5,000 to $150,000, for a grant term of up to one year.
There are two application deadlines:
- September 2, 2020 at 5 pm ET
- December 2, 2020 at 5 pm ET
OTF invests in six ‘Action Areas’ and applicants must identify one that their organization’s mission/mandate is most aligned with:
- Active People – Fostering more active lifestyles
- Connected People – Building inclusive and engaged communities together
- Green People – Encouraging people to support a healthy and sustainable environment
- Inspired People – Enriching people’s lives through arts, culture and heritage
- Promising Young People – Supporting the positive development of children and youth
- Prosperous People – Enhancing people’s economic wellbeing
