The Durham Food Policy Council (DFPC) is hosting an event focused on developing a Food System Report Card on Friday, April 24, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Regional Municipality of Durham Headquarters in Whitby, ON.

The Report Card would track key indicators of the health of Durham’s food system, and would be updated with the support of the Region, Municipalities, DFPC and other agencies.

A keynote address will be delivered by food system scholar and practitioner Phil Mount, who is also on Sustain Ontario’s Board. The event will also include a presentation of DFPC’s report card research findings, recommendations related to the Food System Report Card project, and breakout activities to brainstorm and collect feedback.
