The 6th Annual Ecological Farmers of Ontario (EFAO) Conference, Climate of Curiosity, is coming up on December 2 – 5 at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel in Belleville, Ontario.

This event draws farmers and supporters from across the food system for four days of intensive learning, idea-sharing, networking and celebration with good food and friends.

Tuesday Intensive Workshops

This year’s intensive workshops cover some important and thought-provoking topics:

• The Web of Life: How Behaviour Links Soil and Plants with Herbivores and Humans with Dr. Fred Provenza

• Advantages and Techniques of No-till Vegetable Farming  with Andrew Mefferd

• Holistic Decision Making on the Farm as a Tool for Resilience with Javan Bernakevitch

• Advocating for Regenerative Agriculture with Finian Makepeace

There will be three inspiring keynote speakers this year:

• Michelle Holliday, guide, creative strategist, speaker, and author of The Age Of Thrivability, on Wednesday

• Heather Pritchard, leading land and farm co-op developer and mentor in Canada, on Thursday
