Get ready for TasteReal’s 11th Annual Guelph Wellington Local Food Fest coming up on Sunday June 26. From a farmers’ market to hands-on workshops, tractor rides and face painting for kids, the day is packed with all sorts of exciting activities for all ages.
TasteReal, a member of Sustain Ontario, aims to strengthen small local businesses and farms within rural communities. The food fest will feature a variety of fresh local foods, craft brew, and exciting workshops sponsored by Minga Skill Building Hub. Workshops include cheese making, beer brewing, wild foraging and more. Be sure to check out the schedule for the times of the workshops and demos at this year’s event.
The event will run from 11am to 5pm at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre, and the admission is a minimum of $5 per a person or $10 per family. There will be a variety of vendors present for this year’s event and a great live music line-up.
A free shuttle bus is being operated on behalf of Downtown Guelph Business Association and Red Car Service from Downtown Guelph and Shelldale Centre. The locations and times of the free shuttle service can be found on the TasteReal website.
