Join the Nutrition Resource Centre in partnership with EPODE Canada as they examine the potential for social marketing campaigns to influence human behaviours and to help us make healthier choices like choosing water over sugar-sweetened beverages. The two organizations are hosting Using Social Marketing to Promote Water and Reduce Sugary Drinks webinar on June 9 that promises a step-by-step overview for effective social marketing campaigns to promote health.
According to event details shared by NRC, the webinar will offer a guide for developing and implementing a social marketing campaign to positively impact health behaviours, including key success factors, and to overcome common barriers to using social marketing as a health promotion strategy. The EPODE International community’s successful social marketing to promote water consumption will be featured. Participants also will hear about a local campaign in Ontario to reduce sugar-sweetened beverages.
Speakers include
Dennis Edell is Managing Director of EPODE Canada and an internationally recognized social marketing expert.
