New Social Media Campaign on the Local Food Act

Over the coming weeks, we will be ramping up our campaigning on the Local Food Act. Before the Ontario Legislative Assembly resumes in September, we are aiming to have emails sent to every MPP in the province, telling them to support local food and vote in favour of the Local Food Act! We are also asking MPPs to take additional action to make the Act even more robust.
Thus, we are launching a social media educational campaign to talk about the complexities of the Ontario food system and the real effects a local food act could have around health, the economy and sustainability in the province.

You can also email your MPP directly from the Vote ON Food website. We already have a pre-written email you can customize and send – all you have to do is enter your name, email, and riding.
