The Guelph Organic Conference is hosting a presentation for small-scale dairy processing start-ups and new entrants on Saturday, February 2nd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The presentation will focus on the challenges of current and aspiring processors, farmers, and consumers, who will have the opportunity to learn more about what’s involved in this niche production, and the consumer choice, food quality, and community benefits that it entails. A 30-minute panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer period and networking opportunities.

Panelists include Ruth Klahsen, owner/lead cheesemaker at Monforte Dairy; Philip Wilman, Raw Milk Specialist with OMAFRA; and Patrick Groenewegen, from Limestone Organic Creamery.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 2nd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Guelph University Centre, room UC334.
