“Organizing for food systems change: multi-stakeholder approaches and resources for food system innovators – on campus and off”

The 3rd Tuesday of each month, Farm to Cafeteria Canada and Sustain Ontario are hosting webinars with speakers from across Canada who lead programs that bring local, nutritious and sustainably produced foods into public agencies like schools, universities and hospitals.

On November 20th, Sarah English from the Sierra Youth Coalition and Caitlin Colson from Meal Exchange provided an overview of The Campus Food Systems Project – a national project that brings together campus staff, students and key stakeholders from the many systems in food services.

With 9 participating campuses across Canada, the Campus Food System Project is engaging and supporting students and the food community to lead food systems change by connecting food systems to policy to research on campus.

Listen to the recording to find out how students leaders are the real champions behind a national movement across Canadian universities to build relationships and drive change in the food service sector. Connect with Sarah or Caitlin to learn more about their network and resources.
