On Sunday, September 23, Stratford’s Market Square will be filled with familiar faces as thirty local chefs pair up with Perth County producers to create an array of seasonal dishes to be judged for the Festival’s Top Tasting Award.

Watch Chef Tim Larsen of Mercer Hall, Chef Rene Delafranier of Rene’s Bistro, Chef Aaron Linley of Bijou and many other Perth County chefs go head to head in this tasting competition.

For more information and to purchase tickets please visit: visitstratford.ca/culinaryfestival/events.php#tasting.

Guests can sample and savour the best Perth County has to offer while enjoying the variety of Ontario VQA wines and craft beers with live entertainment. Tasting Awards will be presented to the culinary team that best meet the criteria for the awards below as determined by our guest judges: Chicago’s TV and Radio Food Broadcaster Steve Dolinsky, Toronto writer Renee Suen, actor Geraint Wyn Davies, sommelier Jamie Drummond and Carl Heinrich, winner of Season Two of Food Network’s Top Chef Canada.

Scotiabank is sponsoring this year’s tented garden party as well as providing staff volunteers to greet all Culinary Festival attendees. Stop by a Welcome Hut, located at each main entrance. Friendly Scotiabank volunteers, dressed in red shirts, will be pleased to greet you, provide you with a Site Map and answer your questions about the festivities.
