Ecosource has announced that registration is now open for their inaugural year of The Urban Agriculture Leadership Lab.

The free training program will run over 8 weeks from October 8 – November 26, 2026, and is intended for people living or working in Mississauga who are interested in taking a leadership role in urban agriculture projects and initiatives.

People are encouraged to join who are:

Currently involved in garden-based community programming or urban agriculture activities; or
Connected to a community-serving project or organization and interested in developing their leadership skills in urban agriculture.

The in-person sessions have been designed to deliver interactive learning on a range of topics including crop production, community engagement, program management, and sector innovation. Learn from experts in the field, engage with a diverse community of urban agriculture leaders, and develop the skills to grow the impact of urban agriculture initiatives in Mississauga.
