The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) has introduced Sector Grants, a new funding stream designed to strengthen the capacity and resilience of Ontario’s non-profit sector by supporting projects that respond to shared needs and emerging opportunities across the sector.

The non-profit sector includes charitable and non-profit organizations, networks, and supporting organizations that strengthen communities and improve quality of life across Ontario. It also includes the systems, relationships, and infrastructure that enable the sector to deliver public benefit.

Grants of $50,000 to $300,000 per year, for 1, 2 or 3 years, support projects that respond to shared needs and emerging opportunities across the non-profit sector.

The Step 1 application period is from September 23 to October 14, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET.
