Farms at Work is hiring a part-time Community Farm Planner for their Peterborough Community Farm initiative.

The vision for the Community Farm initiative is to create an inspirational learning hub, grounded in Farms at Work’s charitable commitment to building secure and resilient community food systems. The Planner will build on and flesh out critical elements identified in an existing business plan.

Responsibilities include: Review of existing background research and consultations, conducting interviews and focus groups with potential community farm program participants and community organizations on key topics; refining capital requirements; developing a Community Farm guidebook and application process.

  • Hours: 19 hours per week
  • Employment Timeframe: April 2026 through March 2027
  • Compensation: $30.00/hour plus MERCS
