Farm to Cafeteria Canada is currently accepting grant applications for both their Indigenous Foodways in Schools Grants and their Farm to School Canada Grants, thanks to a partnership with Whole Kids (a Pillar of Whole Foods Market Foundation).
The Indigenous Foodways in Schools Grants provide funding for Indigenous school communities throughout Canada to support their long-term community visions of Indigenous food security and food sovereignty that are implemented in the school setting. Learn more about these grants here.
The Farm to School Canada Grants are delivered directly to schools to bring more local food into schools where it is featured in a meal service, such as a salad bar, that allows students to build their own bowls or create their own plates. Learn more about these grants here.
Both grant streams are accepting applications until May 8, 2026.
