The Fair Finance Fund has opened its Winter Loan Intake, accepting applications until March 30, 2026.

Fair Finance Fund is Ontario’s first social finance lender dedicated to local food and farm enterprises. Since launching in 2019, they have provided over 70 loans to farmers, food processors, distributors, and retailers who are strengthening sustainable, community-based food systems across the province.

The Fund offers loans from $20,000 up to $200,000 for a 5-year term. Each client also receives up to 8 hours of mentorship and business assistance from experts in agrifood business development.

Loan applications are open February 23 – March 30, 2026.
