The First Nations Youth Entrepreneurship (FNYE) Program is an initiative designed to support First Nations youth in Ontario in launching or expanding their own businesses.

Through a combination of micro loans, non-repayable grants, and ongoing business support, the FNYE Program aims to help youth create viable, income-generating enterprises that contribute to economic development and community well-being.

Stay tuned for details on their upcoming grant programs:

Beginning Farmers Program

The Beginning Farmers Program supports new First Nations farmers (ages 16-40) through intensive training, mentorship, and start-up financing (up to $50,000 available on approved projects, including a grant component). If you’re looking to put down roots in agriculture, this is for you.

E-commerce Grants for First Nations Businesses

First Nations Agriculture and Finance Ontario (FNAFO) is offering grants of up to $8,000 to support e-commerce development for small to medium-sized First Nations farms and businesses across Ontario. Funding will be available through the Indigenous Economic Development Fund (dates TBD). This is a perfect opportunity to enhance your digital storefront and reach more customers.

Stay tuned on the First Nations Agriculture and Finance Ontario (FNAFO) website for the official funding announcement dates and/or contact info@firstnationsag.ca for more information.
