In celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day, the National Farmer Union’s Indigenous Solidarity Working Group is hosting a virtual movie night featuring “Kanenon:we – Original Seeds”, a film following the stories of three Indigenous women reclaiming their ancient role as seed keepers.

The film screening will take place on June 26th at 7 p.m. ET on Zoom and will include a discussion with one of the filmmakers, Katsitsionni Fox.

This is an opportunity to spend time learning and sharing in community to highlight the vital role of Indigenous Peoples in defending seeds, land and future generations. Register here. All are welcome!

To support Indigenous seed stewardship, you’re encouraged to consider donating to the Kenhteke Seed Sanctuary.
