Sustain Ontario is working to identify food policy priorities and recommendations that we can provide to political parties in advance of the provincial election.

The Ontario Edible Education Network will be meeting on November 7 at 3:30 pm to discuss recommendations relating to children and youth. Please join this conversation to inform our policy priorities and recommendations relating to school food programs, food literacy and other themes that relate to enabling children and youth to eat, grow, cook, celebrate, and learn about healthy, local and sustainably produced food.

Register for the conversation here.

We will start our conversation building on the food literacy recommendations we made to the Ministry of Education in July 2023 as well as the Ontario Coalition Chapter (hosted by Sustain)’s 2025 pre-budget submission (coming soon).
