Are you part of an Ontario-based non-profit, charity organization, network or informal group working on any part of building healthy, equitable, and sustainable food systems?

We would like to hear from you on this survey!

Survey deadline: *EXTENDED to Friday, October 11, 2024*

Thank you to the almost 60 organizations that have filled out the survey! We are very excited to strengthen all of our collaborative work together. Because many organizations have said they need more time, we are keeping the survey open until October 11th.

What’s this for?

This survey is the first step in a process to gather policy priorities from groups and organizations working on food systems issues. These priorities will be brought together to make policy recommendations to political parties ahead of the provincial election, and will form the basis for continued collective work at Sustain.

Who is running the survey?

This survey is being run by Sustain Ontario and Food Communities Network in collaboration with researchers at Lakehead University. Rosie Kerr has been hired by Sustain Ontario to convene a province-wide participatory process to identify partners and policy priorities, gearing up for the provincial election. Her email address is networks@sustainontario.com and she can be contacted directly to set up time to talk, if you’d rather talk through the answers instead of writing the survey.

Are you part of an Indigenous-focused organization?

Acknowledging dual governance on the lands, if you are part of an Indigenous-focused organization and would be interested in opening a conversation as to how Sustain can support your work and the policy directions you are advocating for, we invite you to contact Rosie at networks@sustainontario.com.
