Fleetwood Hills Farm Tour

Tuesday, August 27th
6 – 8 p.m. | Kawartha Lakes, ON
$10-25 sliding scale. Kids 12 and under free

Join Farms at Work and Fleetwood Hills Farm for an evening exploring garlic, honey, and farm business strategies. Farmer Steve Moore will showcase his garlic and honey enterprises, highlight his stewardship practices, and discuss how balancing specialization with diversification has brought success to his farm.

Pastured Poultry and Mushrooms with Kendal Hills Farm

Monday, September 9th
5:30-7:30 p.m. | Orono, ON
$10-20 sliding scale. Kids 12 and under free

Join Farms at Work for a tour of Kendal Hills Farm exploring pastured poultry and mushroom cultivation. Farmers Dave Kranenburg and Emily Tufts will share their insights into the Artisanal Chicken Program and highlight the benefits of raising poultry on pasture. They will also showcase their indoor, year-round gourmet mushroom operation.
