The Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program intake is open for cost-share funding applications!

As part of the Ontario Agricultural Sustainability Initiative, the Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program (RALP), provides funding to support Ontario farmers in making their agricultural lands more productive and resilient. The Program provides funding to support projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and sequester carbon.

Funding supports two activity levels for each project category. Projects focus on:

  • Natural Grassland Establishment: $1,000 or $3,000 per acre
  • Perennial Biomass Crops: $500 or $1,000 per acre
  • Perennial Warm Season Pastures: $500 or $1,000 per acre
  • Reduced Tillage: $30 or $50 per acre
  • Tree and Shrub Planting: $1,000 or $3,000 per acre
  • Water Retention Features: $6,000 or $10,000 per acre
  • Wetlands: $15,000 or $25,000 per acre

The Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program is delivered by the Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA).
