rxRecourse is hosting a 5-part Food Literacy Workshop Series for teachers and parents to help them support young people’s mental and physical health.

Starting September 28th, the workshops will be held on the last Wednesday of each month:

  • Fundamentals of Nutrition for Youth | September 28, 2022 @ 7 – 8 p.m.
  • Incorporating Food Literacy into Various Subjects | October 24, 2022 @ 7 – 8 p.m.
  • Supporting ADHD and Mental Health with Nutrition | November 30, 2022 @ 7 – 8 p.m.
  • Modifying the Canadian Food Guide for Various Cultures, Dietary Needs, and Allergies | January 25, 2023 @ 7 – 8 p.m.
  • Understanding Food Processing and Educating Children to Read Nutrition Labels Effectively | February 22, 2023 @ 7 – 8 p.m.

The workshops are developed and facilitated by Kenzie Osborne, a Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner, recipe developer, chef, mental health speaker, and Health Coach Alliance Registered Health Coach.

Each workshop will include:

  • A 45 minute interactive presentation
  • A 15 minute Q&A period
  • Associated resources to implement nutrition concepts in the classroom and at home
  • A recording of the workshop for future reference

The workshops cost $29.99 each, or a full pass can be purchased for $124.99.
