Are you an organic producer?

A Ph.D. student at Laurentian University, Yasser Ghoreishi, is currently working on an Organic Farming Profitability Research Project, and is seeking organic producers to respond to an online survey.

The project is interested in the profitability of organic farms and businesses as well as their perceived benefits on society, the environment and health and how to achieve its pro-social and pro-environmental goals in Ontario.

Yasser has shared, “The findings of this research thesis could be useful for farmers considering organic food growth, policy-makers trying to determine whether organic farmers require subsidies, and scholars who would like to know more about the profitability structure of organic farms.”

An online survey for the project contains four sections: company information, general information, financial, and environment & health. It should take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
