Ecosource and York University have announced their 2020 Advanced Teacher Training certificate course for educators in the GTA.

The new modules developed for 2020 will provide hands-on learning and professional development to educators interested in the latest tools and strategies for environmental education. The modules will equip participants to bring environmental learning into their classrooms, with each module including an action kit and curriculum-connected learning tools.

Module 1: Food Systems & Gardening for the Curriculum – Saturday, February 8 (Ecosource office) and Saturday, February 29 (York University)


Module 2: Nature Play & Fostering Outdoor Connection – Saturday, March 7 (York University) and Saturday, March 28 (York University)


Module 3: Water, Green Infrastructure & Water-Based Learning – Saturday, April 4 (York University) and Saturday, April 25 (Chinguacousy Park)

Module 4: Reducing Your Ecological Footprint Through Youth Advocacy – Saturday, May 9 (York University) and Saturday, May 23 (York University)

Registration is $20 per module.
