Registration is open for the Place-Based Food Systems Conference: Making the Case, Making it Happen in Richmond, British Columbia, on August 9-10, 2018.

The 2-day conference will bring together academic and community-based leaders who are working to understand and advance place-based food systems as a foundational element of sustainable society.

Over 50 presentation sessions from researchers, community practitioners, government representatives and educators will report on the latest place-based food systems work and research across North America and abroad.

Panels will also explore pressing topics from multiple perspectives in longer session formats.
