Food is at the heart of many critical issues that shape the places we live, and the health of those we love. With municipal and provincial elections looming, Sustain Ontario finds itself in a position to influence campaign policy discussions, and with an urgent need to determine how the organization can serve its members and the cause of food and farming in Ontario.

As a member-driven organization with a provincial mandate, Sustain Ontario’s work depends on a broad, committed and engaged base. Our members set our direction, decide which issues we should all focus on, and come together to work on the issues most important to them.

The Board of Directors is asking for your honest and straightforward feedback and insight. We’re here because we see the value in working through issues to provide a collective voice, but we recognize that many organizations are doing similar work in other collaborations . We want to know what role you think Sustain Ontario has in advancing local food and farming in the province.

Sustain Ontario is a province-wide, cross-sectoral alliance that promotes healthy food and farming. Our mission is to provide coordinated support for productive, equitable and sustainable food and farming systems that support the health and wellbeing of all people in Ontario, through collaborative action.
