Resetting the Table, Food Secure Canada’s 9th National Assembly is fast approaching, taking place on October 13th-16th in Toronto, Ontario.
If you haven’t already, register here to join Canada’s biggest and most diverse food gathering, along with 700 food activists, chefs, researchers, community workers, Indigenous leaders, policy makers, entrepreneurs and interested foodies from across the country.
Resetting the Table will feature 50+ skill-building workshops, tours, keynotes and networking opportunities for attendees to exchange views and work toward a strategy that will improve Canada’s food system.
Workshop Streams include:
• Healthy School Food: What’s for Lunch?
• Northern and Indigenous Food Sovereignty, Food Justice Affects Us All
• Local Food Economies: Procurement, Infrastructure, Hubs
• Climate Change, Food and Waste
• Global Food System: Canadian Connections
• Food Security: Towards Zero Hunger
• Agriculture: Farming for the Future
• And Other Key Food Issues

Speakers from many notable organizations and Canadian universities will examine these pressing topics, including members from the Coalition for Healthy School Food, the Canadian Biotechnology Action Network, FoodShare, Community Food Centres Canada, Greenpeace Canada, Toronto Youth Food Policy Council, Justice for Migrant Workers, Alternative Land Use Systems, J.W. McConnell Family Foundation, Land Over Landings and many more.
