You’ll learn a lot about seeds and the seed market when you join Farms at Work and The Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security for Seed Saving in the Kawarthas. The 2-workshop series will run July 26 and September 26.
Growing Seed to Support Your Market Garden with Chick-a-biddy Acres. The farm has been operating for 17 years, and was one of the first Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in the region. This workshop is for those considering integrating seed crops as part of a market garden operation, for sale or for on-farm use.

Best Practices for Harvesting and Cleaning Seed with Colette Murphy of Urban Harvest. The organization has been harvesting and selling seed in the Toronto area for nearly 20 years, offering over 100 kinds of seed.
