Wast(ED): Food Waste Strategy Speaker Event

The City of Toronto’s Long Term Waste Management Strategy is organizing another event within the Waste Education speaker series on Thursday July 9, from 7 to 8:30 pm. This session will focus on food waste and will be moderated by Tammara Soma, Trudeau Scholar and University of Toronto PhD candidate.
Sustain Ontario members Helene St. Jacques from Informa Market Research and Mike Nevin from FoodShare Toronto will be joined by Loru Nikkol from Second Harvest, Sue Arndt from Not Far From The Tree and Frances Darwin from ZooShare to share the innovative ideas guiding their work to change the way we deal with food waste by turning it into healthy meals, black gold and renewable energy.
