Meal Exchange is hosting a webinar on June 24th at 12p.m. EDT featuring Drew Silverthorn and Professor Resh Budhu to discuss student poverty: what it looks like, what it means for education and how it relates to other injustices in Canada.
From Meal Exchange:
It’s time to #endstudentpoverty!
Student poverty is a growing issue on campuses across Canada, and there is now a food bank on almost every campus. Meal Exchange needs your help to build a student-led movement to shed light on this hidden issue, promote dignified good food access and work to #endstudentpoverty so campus food banks are not needed any more. Together, we need to raise $10,000 to give students the resources to make it happen.
