On the afternoon of Thursday, June 11th, Sustain Ontario member FoodShare Toronto will be hosting a Community Food Solutions Resource Fair: Affordable, Healthy Options in Toronto. You can register for this free event at the Eventbrite page.
The resource fair will continue the conversation around community food buying and offer options and ideas for food purchasing to community agencies. There will be speakers discussing current and emerging options for community agencies to purchase food, and trade show style tables displaying FoodShare’s Good Food programs, as well as some other purchasing options. Agencies who attend will have the opportunity to browse the tables, listen to inspiring speakers, and connect with other agencies doing similar work.
Community agencies in the City of Toronto have an incredible potential for coordinated food purchasing and buying power. Come to the resource fair to learn more about affordable, healthy options in Toronto!
