Everyone interested in farmland protection is invited to attend. Tickets for individuals or tables of eight can be purchased online, or call Krista at (519) 824-4120 ext. 52654.
About Ontario Farmland Trust:
Ontario Farmland Trust is a registered charity with a province-wide mandate to defend, protect and preserve Ontario’s best farmlands. It actively protects farmland by working directly with landowners to permanently protect their land for agriculture through tools such as farmland conservation easements. OFT also assists in raising awareness of the impacts of farmland loss, the need for greater farmland preservation and the importance of land stewardship. It provides ongoing volunteer and learning opportunities and encourages collaboration between diverse stakeholders, including farmers, local food groups, land use planners, health advocates and government.
