From Halton Food Council:
Local food, organics, CSAs, farmer’s markets, community grocers, farm-to-table restaurants, and local food hubs. Food can bring us together and shape the world we live in by building vibrant and just rural and urban communities through sustainable food systems.
Join the Halton Food Council on Thursday, November 6, 8:00 – 1:00 p.m., to hear from a panel of farmers, policymakers, community groups, and grocers as they share their stories about the opportunities and challenges to build a more resilient local food system. Share your story and help shape the future of food in Halton. Together we can create a shared table with room for all!
Save the Date as registration is limited. A light breakfast and lunch with locally sourced foods will be served.
