Our officemates Meal Exchange are seeking a stand-out, team-building leader to fill the role of Executive Director. In the job posting, they talk about the organization’s evolution and the new directions for their programming:
“Meal Exchange is in a period of transition. We’re shifting programming from our foundation in the charity model of hunger relief, towards a focus on food systems and the root causes of food insecurity. We’re also redeveloping and diversifying our financing model, including adding fee-for-service programming and working to bring in a new group of core supporters. With these changes in programming and funding, comes a need to update our identity, and make sure that our network, past and present, understand and feel a part of this evolution.
We’re looking for a leader who’s ready to dream with us, and work together to build the programming, resources, and identity we need to make this dream a reality.”
