SOEEN Action Planince January of 2012, Sustain Ontario’s Edible Education Network has been working to better understand and develop priority actions to support the needs of those individuals and organizations working on issues relating to children, youth, and healthy food systems.

To kick off 2014, the Network has now posted and shared its Network Action Plan, with a summary of priority actions for the year.

The current priority actions are categorized under: Advocacy, Information Sharing and Coordinated Action, and Resource Development.

There is also an in-depth look at how these priorities came about, along with some useful additional documents.

Please take a look at these important next steps and priorities and feel free to share the link widely. The Ontario Edible Education Network is very excited to have these priorities set and to continue to work on connecting children and youth to good food into and beyond 2014.

If any of our next steps interest you, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Carolyn Webb at cwebb@sustainontario.ca to learn more.
