Eastern Ontario Local Food Conference Presentations Now Available Online

Last week, the Eastern Ontario Local Food Conference returned for another year, giving local food groups in the opportunity to share ideas and information as well as facilitate stronger relationships. The conference was hosted by the Kingston Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO) and in addition to networking, presentations, and keynote addresses, also offered a tour of local food enterprises in the Kingston and Frontenac areas.
Presenters at the conference included representatives from Foodland Ontario and the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation. Presentation slides from the conference can be viewed below. The overarching theme of the 2013 conference was “Innovation Driving Local Food.”
