There will be an upcoming community event at FoodShare Toronto on December 5th aimed at connecting Toronto’s urban farmers and growers.  A potluck will start at 5pm, followed by a discussion about farming in Toronto, the networking and needs of its farmers, and how the two may become better connected.  There is a solid foundation for urban agriculture and food production in Toronto, and this event aims to facilitate ideas and solutions for challenges faced by production focused city farmers.  The event will take place at FoodShare (90 Croatia Street, Toronto), hosted by Katie German of the schoolyard farming project School Grown, and Jessica Gale of community supported urban agriculture project Fresh City Farms.

Any interested farmers and growers in the region should consider attending!

Please RSVP to Jessica and Katie by emailing jessica@freshcityfarms.com and katieg@foodshare.net.
