Join the Organic Council of Ontario at this year’s Dinner and Jazz Night on Friday, November 16th for an extraordinary evening of live jazz performed by Tyler Yarema, a three course organic dinner and an inspiring talk by keynote speaker, food activist Julie Daniluk.

The evening has been carefully created to celebrate organic food and farming in Ontario. Funds raised will help support the work of the Organic Council of Ontario so that the organization can continue to advocate on behalf of the organic sector in Ontario, as well as help the sector to grow and shift Ontario towards more sustaining and organic agriculture.

Julie Daniluk is a co-operative owner of one of Canada’s largest health food stores, The Big Carrot Natural Food Market. She has been invited to speak to Parliament about the potential health risks of genetically modified foods. To bring food advocacy issues to a wider audience, Julie has been the event producer for festivals such as Bio-Diversity with David Suzuki and FoodShare’s Field to Table Festival.

The evening will also feature a live art auction with varied pieces of art from across Ontario including photographs, jewelry, paintings and more.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on the OCO website.
