Simcoe County Farm Fresh Marketing Association is excited to host what has become the biggest and best local culinary event in the region: the 5th Annual “Savour Simcoe” event.

Located at a venue central in Simcoe County and with a beautiful outdoor backdrop among the trees and historical agricultural artifacts and buildings, the Simcoe County Museum, along with live music, gives a perfect setting to showcase the best of what Simcoe County and area producers have to offer.

The chefs and farmers come up with delicious, creative morsels, where guests can wander at their leisure, from food station to food station tasting as they go, only to pair up the fantastic food with some of the best wines, craft beers and cider produced in Ontario. This year there will be 16 food tasting teams, and 10 local beverage tasting stations including samples from two local dairies.  Any guest will be hard pressed to go home hungry.

As a special feature this year, cookbook Author Lynn Ogryzlo “The Ontario Table” will be on hand to sign her books and invite guests to sign the Ontario Table Cloth, as a symbol to commit to buying local.
