In the News: Connection Made from “Bring Food Home” Conference Brings Fresh Food To Northern Ontario

A neat article from the Toronto Star looking at the partnership between FoodShare and the Fort Albany First Nation Reserve to deliver fresh (and significantly cheaper) fruits and vegetables to a Northern area with poor access to nutritious foods.
Fun fact – the connection between the two organizations was made during our “Bring Food Home” Conference in Peterborough last fall!
Hopefully we’ll continue to see more examples of these partnerships in the future.
